A Polish-Canadian engineer, builder of bridges, roads, railways and ports in Canada;

co-creator of the central transport system in Canada, Niagara Falls Park and Canadian Engineering Institute; a creator of the Canadian Shooting Association; entrepreneur, politician, lawyer, philanthropist, social activist, the administrator of the province of Ontario, volunteer, high official of the Anglican Church in the Cathedral of St. James in Toronto, founder of Wycliffe College in Toronto. He was one of the greatest engineers from the group of Great Emigration.
